The article titled “Did Public Firms Manage the COVID-19 Better? A Quasi-experimental Design for Non-financial Firms in Türkiye” co-authored by our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Seyid Fahri Mahmud, has been published in the “Central Bank Review”.

Our faculty member Prof. Seyithan Ahmet Ateş gave a seminar titled “From Client to Competitor: Understanding the Defence Manufacturing Ecosystem in Türkiye” as part of the Strategic Leadership Seminar Series held at the University of Oxford.

Our faculty members, Prof. Barış Alpaslan, Assoc. Prof. Zeynep Burcu Uğur, Assoc. Prof. Erkan Gürpınar, Assoc. Prof. Halis Kıral, Asst. Prof. Fatih Kırşanlı, and Res. Asst. Mevza Kurtulmuşlar, have been presented with certificate of appreciation at the 2025 ASBÜ Academic Awards for their valuable scientific work and academic activities. The certificates were presented to our esteemed faculty members by our Vice Rector, Prof. Yasin Söyler.

The article titled “Domesticity Reloaded: When the Tradwife Becomes a Brand”, co-authored by our faculty member Asst. Prof. Ayşenur Karakaş Aydınbakar, has been published in the “Feminist Media Studies”.

The article titled “Adaptive Political Economy of the Egyptian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)” by our faculty member Asst. Prof. Fatih Kırşanlı and Asst. Prof. Ömer Naim Küçük from the Department of International Relations at our university, has been published in the "Third World Quarterly".

The book chapter titled "Good Governance, Democracy, and Economic Resilience in the Gulf Region: A Post-Pandemic Analysis" by our faculty member, Asst. Prof. Fatih Kırşanlı, has been published.

Our faculty member and the Vice President of the Committee of Experts on the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development Goals at the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO, Prof. Barış Alpaslan, participated in the "YOUniverse: International Youth Day Meeting at 12th of August” as a panelist.

Our faculty member, Dr. Fatih Gezer, gave a seminar titled “Using US Census Data for Statistical Modelling of Disease Prevalence and Allocation of Health Resources” at the Institute of Population and Social Research at Marmara University on 12th of August, 2025.

Our faculty members, Assoc. Prof. Seyid Fahri Mahmud and Res. Asst. Fatih Furkan Akosman, gave a seminar titled "Turkish Gridlock: Tradeoff between Macro and Financial Stability: A Partially Integrated System Dynamics Approach" as part of the Economics Department Seminar Series at Ostim Technical University on 29th of July, 2025.
